Riding Dirty

The Dirty White is another great looking tube that uses a bit of fox ( a material that I am growing to love) in the wing section. The fly was designed by Danish tyer Ken Bonde and is finished nicely with a couple wraps of mallard in a somewhat Templedog style fly. A great looking fly for Salmon and Steelhead.

Eumer Teardrop Tube

I love the Templedogs and I’ve been tying a few of my own. I’ve been doing a lot of tying the last couple weeks with fox fur, subbing it for marabou in streamers and even doing some dubbed flies. Here is another TD styled fly to admire and try.

Thunder and Lightning Templedog

It’s always an awesome sight to watch Mr. McPhail tie up a fly, but watching him tie up a templedog is something else. I’ve got a ton of fox tail and Icelandic sheep that would be prime on these flies.
