WB – Brook Trout Headwaters, Columbia County, PA – December ’18 by Wooly Bugged

Video of Michael Evanko fly fishing a wild brook trout stream in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. He includes a few tips for fishing for winter brook trout. The water fished flows through state land and is a tributary of a tributary to the Susquehanna River. During the time of filming the winds were calm, the air temps were close to 40 degrees and the water temperatures were around 42 degrees. This stream did not have direct access trails. State trails were used to get within several hundred yards. The nymph pattern used in this video is called the Pink Ferrari. This video was shot on Sunday, December 29, 2018, and was solo filmed.
