Thanks Jeff!

It arrived in the mail and now I just have to find a suitable frame. Jeff from Drawing Flies 365 was kind enough to send me the original artwork he did for the header fly. So now the plan is to frame it up with the original fly. No that they are side by side, the artwork is even more impressive. Make sure to drop by Jeff’s site and get an update on the work he is doing. I’m also waiting anxiously for his Brook pinup project to become available.

Here is a sweet 2 part video tutorial walking through the steps of tying a Scandinavian Style tube. There are some interesting techniques used here and it’s well worth the watch.

Spawning Purple Spey Fly

Here is a fly I found on Fly Fishing Forum. It’s a great winter steelhead fly. I’ve tied up a few to try out next week during a forecast melt. The fly was created by John Shewey for just such an occasion. Take a look at the beginning of the tutorial and head the advice given on marabou selection.
