Micro Pick Streamer by Rich Strolis

I’ve got a small box of bitty rabbit strips that I dip into from time to time, but the more big rabbit patterns I tie, the fuller that box is getting. Rich is offering this micro streamer to help cull the pile a little bit. This video takes you through the steps of tying his gold variation of the pattern.

Hog Snare Streamer – Rich Strolis

I can think of quite a few spots I’d love to swing this BAF in some current. Rich is pretty masterful when it comes to streamer design and with the new products coming available such as the Flymen Fishing Co. Articulated Shanks, it makes his job easier and more interesting. You probably won’t be knocking out many of these over an hour, but the promise of hogs on the end of your line should help keep you motivated to tie a few of these to try out. Lots if material on the streamer, but note the finished profile in the water with a larger front profile tapering down to the third shank.

Chicken Finger – Richard Strolis

Its been quite a while since I’ve posted one of Richard Strolis’ flies on the page. love the name of the pattern and the massive amount of weight included here. Tungsten bead, a bit of lead and an acetate body will see this fly sink like a boulder. Nice heavy dubbed collar here and the shiny wingcase. I’ll be tying some today for my weekend box.
