I’m still waiting to get back my flies from the VFB Rope Dub swap i was in, but already, I’m seeing some incredible flies coming into my inbox. I wanted to share one of those today that uses Don Ordes’ Rope Dub methods. Niclas “Nick” Runarsson is a regular contributer to the VFB mail list and has some really genuine fantastic flies to share. He did up a sweet looking Bitch Creek using Don’s Rope Dub techniques. Below is the link to the tutorial he produced for his original Slim and Sparkly Bitch Creek to compare it to the Rope Dubbed fly. Thanks Nick!
I love visiting Simon’s blog to see what he is up to. He has some incredible flies posted on the site daily and on occasion we get a full tutorial. Check out the Rattle and Hum below. The tutorial is published in a nice easy to use format. Thumbs up Mr. Graham.
