Captain Corey is becoming a regular feature on YouTube and he has a lot of great information on saltwater patterns and specifically bucktail. He’s made a few adjustments from Bob Clouser’s original, but the gist of it is the same. I spoke with Bob last year at the Western Canadian Fly Fishing Exposition about the Clouser and it’s ability to catch so many species of flies.
Not just once, but twice, the header fly has now been featured on the Drawing Flies 365 site. Check out the latest honor here – Drawing Flies 365
Named after a beer, and created by Jeff Hubbard. (I need to find this Blue Moon beer, it sounds nice. I was expecting an Alaskabou style Blue Moon, but I got more than bargained for here. This is a bunny spey style fly, and is said to be effective for winter run steelhead. This looks like it would also play nicely with Pike, gar and bass. What do you think? Sit back and enjoy.
