WB – Unnamed Trout Stream, Schuylkill County, PA – January ’19 by Wooly Bugged

Michael Evanko fly fishing an unnamed Pennsylvania wild trout stream located in Schuylkill County. This stream is referred to as a blue-line stream because it is not named on maps and it was unknown prior to fishing it whether or not it supported a population of wild trout. The stream runs through a thick rhododendron forest and access was very difficult. The water temperatures on this tributary held steady in the low 40s during the time of filming. There were no direct access trails to a majority of this stream and hiking in was necessary. The nymph pattern used in this video is called the Pink Ferrari and utilizes pink Lively Legz. This video was shot on Tuesday, January 2, 2019, and was solo filmed.
