WB – December Blue-Line, Luzerne County, PA – December ’18 by Wooly Bugged

Video of Michael Evanko exploring a blue-line (unnamed) wild brook trout stream in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. This stream is approximately two miles in length and winds through the heart of Pennsylvania’s coal region. The water temps at the time of filming were in the low 40s and the air temps were the same. This stream had no access trails and was strewn with fallen trees and branches. This combined with the winter temperatures made it challenging to catch fish. The rod used in this video is a 8′-4wt G-Looms Pro 4-X with a Hatch 3-Plus reel. The Pink Ferrari nymph pattern described by Evanko is based on the Lively Legz Pink Cadillac pattern and incorporates pink Lively Legz rubber nymph legs. This video was shot on Sunday, December 23, 2018 and was solo filmed.
