Egg Sucking Intruder – Black & Blue – Dimitri Gammer

This isn’t exactly a tutorial, but it does quick work of a fly which take quite a while to tie. It’s a beautiful black and blue intruder, loosely based around a Ward’s Intruder style fly. I really love the photography of the video and the included shots of the fly swimming.

  1. As an experienced tier, a little less speed would be welcome here. possibly some editing for time constraints rather than blinging speed. The process and techniques for this type of fly are still not that widely known not unlike the relative scarcity of some of the products used. Even some fly shops can be slow to aquire some of the less used products. The end product is impressive.
