Stillborn Midge – Ed Engle

I’ve seen a couple different variations of midges called the Stillborn, but this is one of the more simplified versions. This one is tied tiny, and why not, after all, Ed is known for his smaller flies. This clip is packed with knowledge, the kind of clip I really enjoy watching, not so much for the pattern, but for all the heuristic advise that pours out from the conversation. This version of the stillborn is basically a Griffith’s Gnat with a trailing shuck, but there is so much more here, i really recommend spending the time to watch start to finish!
