Needle Shrimp – John Gray

Needle Shrimp – John Gray has developed a rather unique way of presenting a clump of fur to a fish using his needle (and needle tubes) method of tying. I have showcased his flies on here before, but this style needs mentioning again. The idea behind the needle fly is much the same as a Waddington shank or tube, a big fly and a short shanked hook. I would urge you to take a look at the site and try out a few of the patterns posted.
