Here is a nice little Biot Emerger from Carl Pennington at http://cpsflyfishingandflytying.blogspot.com. Carl is pretty adept at tying some intricate small flies, and so it’s cool to get a glimpse of the skill in action. I must admit, I’ve tried a number of biot flies in the past without much luck getting past the wrapping of the biot. Perhaps it’s time to take another stab with my new found instruction.
