I’ve been tying these for a few years now in a few different variations, but mostly just basic with a mylar body and a black wing. The cormorant that Davie ties up here takes this fly to a new level from what I have seen, and I like it. I would try to use a slightly smaller eye, and I have some new Tuffleye Flex that would be killer to sub out the epoxy. This has been a great fly for trout on the stillwaters and has even done well in some of the deep pool I fish on smaller creeks. Quick to tie and should most defiantly be added to your fly box.
