Tungsten Epoxy Scud

This little piggy is a tank and it keeps a nice open gape on the hook. The shell back is made from Tuffleye resin and hardened with a blue light. The weight means you probably don’t need split shot and can fish the deeper pools and get the fly down quick. It would be perfect for putting into a riffle running to a deep hole.

There is an interesting tidbit in the comments by that I want to try out. I love breakfast so why wouldn’t a fish.

If you like scuds you should try fishing a pink scud 5-10″ under a prince nymph
we call it eggs and bacon and it absolutely kills big rainbows.
