As promised, Riseform has published more content for us fly tyers to consume. The second pattern is J.C.’s Black Bead Stonefly by John Collins. Finally a worthy use for all those dollar store beads I bought so long ago. Here we are with a nice little winter stonefly pattern. I’ve often seen these in the early spring hatching on the western streams.
